Abstract
The paper describes the possibility of socialization and self-realization of young men engaged in Sambo. Clarify the concept of "socialization", "self-realization", "socialization of boys engaged in Sambo," "self-realization of the young men involved in Sambo" in three senses with time-professional pedagogical knowledge - in a wide defining the general laws and the possibility of the educational process, in the narrow, specifies a particular subject-specific opportunities and pedagogical process, directly related to the preparation of highly skilled athletes in the chosen sport, as well as in the local sense, determines the highly specialized capabilities Sambo in addressing the challenges and contradictions of socialization and self-realization.
