Abstract
It is shown that application of information technologies in the educational process in the economic University permit to transfer the learning process on the different technical and methodological level, and thereby significantly improve the efficiency of training, and to ensure higher quality and attractiveness of teaching of some disciplines. However, the availability of hardware and software is insufficient to ensure that the process of introduction of new information technologies in educational process was successful, efficient and would affect many majors. The article considers a number of reasons for this state of Affairs.
