Abstract
This article lists the various kinds of reading and recommendations aimed at stimulation of activity, independence, consciousness when learning a foreign language at an advanced level for undergraduate students, graduate students and post-graduate students at a non-linguistic university. It is recommended a number of tasks for the acquisition of basic skills after using a certain type of reading.
