TRANSLATIONS OF TATAR POETRY INTO RUSSIAN IN THE SOVIET PERIOD: TRENDS AND FEATURES

Abstract
The flowering of translations of Tatar poetry, like many Soviet literatures, into Russian occurred during the Soviet years. Tatar literature became part of Soviet multinational literature, a concept born from the creation of the multinational state of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in 1922. However, its translation had its own unique characteristics.
