AbstractConfucian cosmology reveals three main features. First, it assumes that the universe itself has an infinite ability to replicate itself. Second, it assumes that the changes only occur in cycles. The third point is that Confucian cosmology postu-lates an endless life force of everything. Consciousness, according to the Confucian views, has a duplex structure. Distinctive consciousness was singled out by Sun Tzu. It's a cognitive thinking inherent in the individual, endowed with a natural biological organism. Benevolent consciousness has its ethical system (benevolence, righteousness and propriety). In the opinion of Confucians, a two fold consciousness reflects a two fold thinking. Keywords: Confucius, consciousness, man, nature, reasoning, righteousness
