Abstract
The article presents an overview of the main legal acts on the key components of sustainable development, taking into account sectoral and regional specificities of doing business. The relevance of this study is due to the increased attention to the economic, legal, environmental and social problems of the Russian business, as well as the search for possible ways of increasing business activity in the development and implementation of sustainable development strategies. The current practice of legal documents in the study area is considered on the example of metallurgical enterprises of the Republic of Mordovia.
