Abstract
The article is devoted to the actual problem of information and educational environments design, in particular Computer Orientated Language Learning Environment (COLLE). The author presents the arguments and reasons for choosing a technical platform for COLLE design, as a result some teaching and learning benefits of using the second generation Internet services is justified. In addition, a list of Web-2.0 services is given, as well as their didactic value from the point of view of organizing foreign language training in COLLE.
