THE ORTHODOX EDUCATION OF NOBLES IN A FAMILY AND IN A SCHOOL (18TH – FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY)

Abstract
The religious education of the Russian noblemen is considered in the article. The majority of notable families were faithful to orthodox traditions were considered as a basis for formation of the identity of the child. The pedagogical activity of clergy played a considerable role in the education of noble children.
