AbstractThe recent problems in Ukraine caused the reaction of the European Union and the United States, who have imposed different sanctions to Russian Federation; the economic sanctions have had the greatest impact and entered in force on July 31, 2014. In response, Russia decreed the embargo to certain goods. With this empirical situation, this paper analyzes the trade relations between Ukraine, Russia, United States and European Union and determines the interdependence degree between them. Having as a result that commercially, all of they are connected; in fact, the commercial relations are tools of political pressure, but the levels of trade dependence neutralize this pressure and prevent the aggravation of the conflicts.
