Abstract
The article presents the author's reflections about the future of the family as a social institution in the conditions of growing in the society of such trends as the instability of social status, uncertainty, risk, and growth of vulnerable sections of society. The considered reasons for the decline in marriage and birth rates in youth. Presents an alternative version of the family of the future "I-family", the number of supporters which will continue in the future with keeping the global trends of prioritizatio consciousness of the population.
