AbstractIn an article on the Internet foster example analyzes the possibility of the implementation of the control function of the Russian state in the framework of the construction of "electronic government". Attention is drawn to the tendency of state control with the help of information and communication technologies and the need to address this issue within the concept of «e-government». The article also examines the state of the Internet reception on the official websites of federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation. The conclusion is that only one such body, namely in the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, the state of the Internet reception is outside the recommended rules, approved by the RF Government Decree of 28.07.2005 N 452 "On Standard Regulation of the internal organization of federal bodies of executive power".Keywords: control function, cyberspace, e-government, information relations, Internet, legal regulation
