Abstract
Linguistic and cognitive thesis on metaphor as the basic mechanism of thinking could be considered in fact as a contrast to the confirmed rhetorical position that metaphor is a special mechanism of communication. This metaphor vision could be combined in the theory which distinguishes consistently intended / unintended using of metaphorical nominations on the real communicative processes.
