Abstract
This article provides an overview of the rules of civil law dealing with the consolidation and implementation of the principle of good faith. The study suggests that the principle of good faith untimely included in the civil law, and it requires a revision of regulatory consolidation. The author provides detailed arguments proving the invalidity of the introduction of the principle of good faith in the Russian civil law.
