Abstract
The object of the study were Chinese coins being found in Siberia. The fact that there is still not developed a common vision on the issue of their penetration into the region. In the process of studying numismatic material were investigated Chinese coins discovered in treasures, as well as used as ornaments indigenous peoples of Siberia. As a result, it was found that the coins are not used as means of payment. Chinese coin was the raw material for the manufacture of jewelry.
