Abstract
The article analyzes the criteria of emotional maturity from the perspective of different theoretical approaches. On the basis of the available data systematization formulated his own definition of this phenomenon. The results of an empirical study on a sample of 174 human figures emotional development of students, formulated its peculiarities and difficulties. It emphasized the importance of training of students of emotion for the formation of emotional maturity in the context of the problems of modern higher education.
