Abstract
There are the basic stages of life safety lesson on the theme "Environmental pollution and human health" in this article. Pedagogical technology "Development of critical thinking through reading and writing" was used in the development of the lesson. Application of this technology can be recommended for undergraduate and graduate students during teaching practice on the "Basics of Life Safety".
