Abstract
The article discusses a possible method of differentiation of sympatric and allopatric populations of vendace us figure was used ratio of the maximum number of counting signs (gill rakers on the first gill arch; scales in the lateral line) the minimum number for a number of lakes in Russia, Sweden, USA, Canada.
