Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the Soviet cinema in the second half of the XIX century. Study produced me suggests that quite a lot of movies have been filmed in this period. Appeared new actors, directors, cameramen. It was time of creative flowering masters of the senior generation and the period of debuts which define the face of the Soviet cinema for decades to come.
