Abstract
According to the author, the main feature of the purpose of juvenile punishment is due to mental development, because of their age, the specific use of the courts the General principles of sentencing and the application of the rules governing the release from it. The specified specificity needs to be reflected not only at the level of individual articles of the criminal law, but in separate articles of the criminal procedure law regulating the circumstances be proven, due to their integral account when sentencing. A feature of sentencing is to incorporate the information about the identity of the minor, his mental development, the establishment of its role in society, as well as information reflecting the living conditions and upbringing.
