Abstract
This article discusses the main sources of funding of sport tourism as the industry of physical culture and sports. The study identifies funding sources and basic methods of assessing the effectiveness of sport tourism and suggests that sport tourism affects different aspects of social life outside the industry and has social and economic benefits.
