Abstract
The author proceeds from the fact that improvement of the Russians’ quality of life and the level of confidence in the society, solving of demographic and socio-economic problems, life span and decrease of mortality of the population directly depend on ensuring the food safety of Russia. Creating of categorical food assistance system, achievement of food independence of the country, working out of innovative technologies of sanitary nutrition, perfection of control types of foodstuffs quality are the necessary conditions of the Strategy of National security of the Russia Federation fulfillment.
