AbstractThis article deals with the peculiarities of the transition passive vocabulary into active vocabulary based on the translation of technical literature in the process of learning a foreign language in a technical high school. To use the vast majority of passive vocabulary in speaking enough to form a stereotype of isolated words with translation of the native language in a foreign language to ensure appropriate communicative need for its use. With regard to lexical units that have individually-typological features, you must take into account the level of complexity and speech problems. Necessary to carry out a systematic analysis of grammatical forms in different contexts, with particular attention to multi-valued forms, as well as functional words and combinations that provide a logical connection and clarifying the idea within a single sentence, the opening words, providing logical connections between sentences and whole paragraphs.Keywords: active vocabulary, foreign language, passive vocabulary, process of learning, reading, speaking, specialized education
