Abstract
This article is devoted to the review of ways of optimization of process of rendering information and technical support in universities. The conducted research allows to claim that the most effective of the listed ways is creation of the catalog of the IT services existing in universities. As a result of research features of the catalog of IT services for universities are defined and recommendations about its creation are developed.
