AbstractThe paper contemplates the symbol as an identification with a sociocultural context and an individualization and originality. Modern symbols of culture indicate traditionalism is strong, it is our traditional way, belief, spirituality, continuity, collectivism, but, activity the person is directed outside. Thus, the idea of globalization of culture finds the permission in the combined and hybridized forms of local culture which are at the same time both clear in local culture, and unified and standardized by global culture.Keywords: cultural stereotypes, global culture, globalization, local culture, sign, symbol, traditionalism, traditions
