Abstract
The author of the article conducted a historical analysis of pedagogical activity of one of the outstanding scientists of North Ossetia Boris A. Alborova. The issues of nationalization of education, which took place in the late XIX - early XX centuries, and associated with the activation of socio-political life, with the rapid development of industry and the economy in the North Caucasus, which involved a great commitment to the educational activities of the mountaineers.
