PURIFICATION OF AQUEOUS MEDIA FROM HEAVY METAL IONS BY POLYSACCHARIDE SORBENT

Abstract
The results of the sorption study of Cu (II) and Zn (II) ions by the sorbent from artichoke stems are presented. The received experimental data allow to recommend the use of the sorbent for heavy metal ions sorption from aqueous solutions having different nature, including food systems.
