Abstract
Regularities and tendencies of foreign-language informal conversation development are considered in the article. Problem points in the field of informal conversation research are allocated. Features of informal conversation are noted: brevity, concreteness, simplicity, subjectivity existence. Areas of informal conversation functioning are analyzed. Comparison of the Russian and foreign-language informal conversation is given.
