Abstract
Abstract. The article deals with the self-development of the teacher as an important condition for ensuring full implementation of the possibility of competence approach in education. Disclosed is the dynamic nature of readiness of the teacher to the implementation of the competency approach in education. Analyzed the components of readiness of the teacher to implement it: theoretical, motivational readiness, process-activity-and-reflective evaluative component.
