Abstract
The article examines the existing approaches to the definition of the structure and the concept of economic crimes. Generalized problem of the use of statistical information for the analysis of economic crime in the Russian Federation. Proposed classification features grouping of economic crime and justified the reasons for the lack of reliable statistics on them.
