Abstract
Original research prevalence of substance use among employees of bodies of internal Affairs revealed a lack of awareness of the police in addiction issues and the risk of formation of addictive behaviour among individual persons. The research results prove the necessity of introducing in departmental hospitals specific measures of medical prevention of addictive behavior.
