Abstract
This article deals with the materials of M.R. Polesskih’s excavation of the burial mound, located in the Upper Posurje. Materials of the cemetery are dated by the second half of the XIII - XIV centuries. Burial was left by polovtsy who migrated to Posurje after the Mongol` invasion and, perhaps, contacted with the local Mordovian population.
