Abstract
This article examines the Polish uprising of 1830-1831. on the territory of Volkovysk County. Interest in this topic stems from the fact that this event was the starting point in changing the policy of the Russian authorities in relation to the Polish territory. Work aims to review the progress of the uprising in the territory of the county and Volkovysk change national policy after the uprising separate region of Belarus.
Constitute the basis of research data from a historical archive of the city of Grodno.
