Abstract
In the research it is suggested to use hybrid models with usage of estimates based on order statistics for forecasting of sales volume of new product at the stage of launching into the market instead of traditionally used weighted arithmetic mean. Results of investigation performed on set of time series proved the hypothesis that suggested models exceed model based on weighted arithmetic mean by most of accuracy figures.
