Abstract
The article deals with forming of the Kazanskiy regiment of the 3-d district in 1812. About 3500 warriors from the Vyatka and Kazan provinces were mobilized in Kazan up to December 1812. They were used for forming 5 infantry battalions and 2 cavalry hundreds. In Kazan warriors continued training, started in autumn 1812 year. The problem of equipping troops with fire-arms was solving gradually.
