Abstract
Article is devoted to the essence of the concept of «public-private partnership» and the definition of its role in matters related to social and economic development of the Russian Federation. The article also describes the most common international practice forms of PPP, PPP highlighted key challenges and the main benefits derived from each side of the partnership as well as defined socially important areas in which the implementation of PPP projects is the most popular.
