Abstract
This article discusses the implementation of international experience in matters of repossession of property of the spouses, the legal regime which is set by the marriage contract. On the basis of the research the author proposes the need to turn to the experience of foreign countries in order to use the most effective methods of regulation of the marriage contract, as well as strengthening the mechanism of conducting special register of marriage contracts. This will be one of the most important steps to address the shortcomings in the protection of property interests of spouses.
