Abstract
The article developed criteria for assessing the activities of student scientific societies: the involvement of students, normative-legal base, cooperation, efficiency, knowledge, material and financial support, training, monitoring component. Defined manifestations of criteria. Revealed that among the members of the scientific student society there is no comprehensive understanding about the activity. Developed criteria apparatus makes it possible to estimate activities and to offer a number of corrective measures on improvement of its work.
