Abstract
In this article problems of self-realization of the personality and satisfaction with life are analysed. Attempt to consider these phenomena in interrelation with each other was made. Data on existence of this interrelation are obtained. The characteristic of empirical selection – elderly people of 55 - 65 years is of interest also, At all variety of researches in the field a problem self-realization of the personality wasn't considered in a context of satisfaction by life.
