Abstract
This article describes the advantages of the new approach to the design of processing plants – holistic engineering. It is led the comparison of energy consumption of a typical production system with the zero energy system and ideal production process. Using integrated systems approach to the design of a commercial company to allow new opportunities to reduce costs.
