The sodium hypophosphite decomposition with production of hydrogen on surfacesof copper phosphides films with a base from nickel, aluminium and polyvinyl chloride was studied. It was found, that the hydrogen liberation rate in this case is higher practically on an order than at the using pure nickel. This fact gives a possibility of use of the suggested method for the preparation of hydrogen in laboratory purposes. Also a principle possibility of development of a safe hydrogen autonomous welding apparatus on the basis of the proposed technology is shown.
