Abstract
The work presents the results of research of preferences and ignoring of the «simple» geometric shapes, such as triangles, squares, or circles, in the process of their simultaneously visual perception. The results of an empirical research conducted by means of system of definition of coordinates of the eye (eye tracker) are presented. The impact of such factors as the geometric shape of the figure, contour or filled type, location, size on preference or ignoring of figures has been analyzed. The results may be of interest for psychologists, specialists in the field of advertising and marketing.
