Abstract
The article generalizes the experience of practical use of the method of projects in teaching children the language of architecture and design, which is seen as a means of communication in the system of culture. Focus possibilities of the method in promoting inter-cultural, cognitive and social competences and its role in promoting language that creates the orientation and motivation of the basis for its professional study.
