Abstract
Presents a historical analysis of the formation of moral values in Russia during XVIII century. It is shown that in this time of serious influence on the transformation of domestic values had European ideas about the ideal man. So, first of all, were: the secular nature of the ideal man whose senses are subordinated to the mind; the naturalness of interests and behavior of the person; the desire to work and creativity; the dynamism of the ideal man.
