Abstract
This article analyzes and educational sites and their classification is offered depending on the content and functions. The analysis allows to develop educational websites into 10 groups: schools sites, educational sites help character, sites specific educational activities and projects of distance education sites, educational portals, sites for the dissemination of cultural and educational information, sites for chats and thematic teleconferences in online mode educational, web research, advisory services and destination sites - assistants.
The authors also found that although the sites of educational programs, projects and institutions as a whole can be divided into different types depending on the content, but in most cases are multifunctional: here you can find a lot of the necessary information, to receive counseling teachers, in a separate section to conduct an e-zine etc. In use, the site can be modified: changing their objectives, content, etc.
