Abstract
The article presents the results of correlation analysis between marital satisfaction and some positive psychological parameters. Satisfied with their marriage people feel more successful and happy in their lives, they demonstrate more hope, they are more likely to feel grateful, they are more emotionally mature, more able to realize the present moment, more satisfied with their lives, they more often find the meaning of life, they are less depressed. The study also shows that marital satisfaction can be seen as one of the parameters of positive psychology. The article may be of interest to family psychologists, to counselors on issues of family and marriage, to all interested in the psychology of marriage or positive psychology.
