Abstract
The article is devoted to the study and analysis of theoretical views on the nature of the concept of positioning, highlighting the main features, determining the importance of the positioning process in the formation of the overall marketing strategy of the company. In today's market the winners are those who sets the strategic goals and competes with the use of theoretically justified from a scientific point of view of technologies, methods and techniques.
