AbstractThe study is focused on the modern concepts of athletes’ immune response to the endotoxin derived from intestinal bacteria both prior and upon physical load. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of the post-exercise pathogenic mechanisms, to the extent of possible prognosticating of pre-existing and hidden diseases. Dynamic study of the endotoxin-antiendotoxin system will make it possible to correct, in proper time, an athlete’s training routine and competition activities.Keywords: endotoxin, immunity status, intestinal bacteria, pathogenic mechanism, physical load
