Abstract
The article delves into the universal significance of Magtymguly Pyragy's works in Turkmen literature, with a particular focus on the word "ýar" (beloved) frequently used in his poetry. Drawing from the "Türkmen klassyky edebiýatynyň sözlügi" by A. Meredov and S. Ahally, the word "ýar" encompasses meanings such as beloved, friend, and confidant. Through analysis of select poems like "Gülzardan aýryldym" and "Ýa Jepbar," where "ýar" describes the spiritual conditions of lovers, the article explores the depth of human emotions portrayed by Magtymguly. Additionally, it examines instances where the poet addresses God directly as "ýar" in poems like "Ýar sende" and "Ýar çeker," reflecting the poet's profound spiritual connection and anticipation of divine guidance.

During the Revival of the new era of the powerfulstate, under the auspices of the President, the works of our sage and poet Magtymguly Pyragy, which are of universal value, have been fully re-examined. This case arouses deep interest in the Turkmen people as well as in the world community.

Behind every work of the great master of words, Magtymguly Pyragy, lies the deep meaning. That is why those works have a thousand colours. In this work, we decided to talk about the original meaning of the word ” ýar”, which often occurs in the poet’s work.

This word is explained in the book “Türkmen klassyky edebiýatynyň sözlügi” by A. Meredov and S. Ahally: “Ýar” means beloved, friend, another half, true friend” [3, p. 505].

As it turns out, the word ” ýar” means a friend, a confidant, a loved one, a loved one. In dozens of poems by wise poet, such as “Gülzardan aýryldym”, “Ýa Jepbar”, “Aýryldym”, “Aýa döndi”, “Boýlaryňa”, “Ýary gördüňmi”, this word describes the spiritual conditions of lovers. However, in some of his poems, the great sage addresses God directly through this word.

Let’s turn to specific examples. First, examples of the meaning of the word “yar” to address a beloved girl, that is, a lover of beauty.

The poet puts human love at the highest level. Love is the meaning of life. His way is brutal yet sweet. When a person endures that hardship, he attains a high status. The poet’s lover’s half is delicate than a flower, waiting for the image of a honey bee. The power of his love always binds him to her. It conveys both gentle and vengeful feelings to the language.

Ýörseň,  ýarym, guwanar men,

Serwi kamat boýlaryňa;

Gülden puşeş ýaraşypdyr

Ajap rahat boýlaryňa [2, p. 155].

Sözüm saňa ýetmez, arzym etmäge,

Işimiň rowajy ýokdur etmäge,

Dilber derdi goýmaz meni ýatmaga,

Bagyşlasaň neýlär ýarym, ýa Jepbar [2, p. 60].

Bolmady bizge nesibiň, istedim güýzden seni,

Diýdiň: ötsün gyş, tapar men täze nowruzdan seni,

Saýladym, seçdim, sonam, bir bölejik gyzdan seni,

Neçün biliň guçmadym, bildim tapyp uzdan seni,

Isterem hakdan, gowuşdyrgaý maňa tizden seni [2, p. 59].

The poet was able to stand before the great chaos of love with his genius wisdom. Unrequited love has come back to him as a great song. Those poems are the response of the poet’s spiritual condition to his suffering.

Ýara ýaraşar üç müçe,

Sypatyn söýlerem ençe,

Lebi şeker, agzy gunça,

Ol zülpi tardan aýryldym [2, p. 62].

As you can see from the examples above, the word “ýar” refers to lovers. The verse taken from the poem “Nowruzdan seni” is a direct appeal to lovers.

Now let’s look at the use of this word by the great sage with reference to the Creator.

Our wise poet addresses God as “ýar, ýarym” in dozens of poems he wrote about God. Many of his poems such as “Ýary gördüňmi?”, “Näme sen?”, “Görünmez”, “Ýar sende”, “Ýar çeker” can be a clear example of this.

Magtymguly, geç namysdan, aryňdan,

El götergil bu wepasyz käriňden,

Jahan doly, sen gapyl sen ýaryňdan,

Ýa mestmi sen, ýa şeýdamyň, näme sen? [2, p. 26].

A wise poet seeks God with all his heart. But he still couldn’t meet Him. The poet, who has not found his beloved, turns to Him. He wakes him up from the endless universe.

Turgul, Jebraýyldan habar soraýyn,

Ne sebäpdir, gözel ýarym görünmez;

Telmurup gapyňa günde baraýyn,

Ähdi-peýman ol ykrarym görünmez [2, p. 152].

Şyh Sengan deý uzyn gaýga ulansam,

Şibli kimin toz-topraga bulansam,

Käbä baryp, ýedi keren dolansam,

Ýa reb, habar bilerinmi, ýar senden! [2, p. 56].

Taňry söýen Muhammediň ummaty:

“Bismilla!” diýp, owwal hakny ýar çeker,

Biamanlar hergiz görmez jenneti,

Dowzah içre köp azaplar bar, çeker [4, p. 68].

Wise Magtymguly addresses God as “half, half” in the above lines. He always expresses his anticipation. Because the great God is the savior of all sorrows, the great Lord.

Our wise poet Magtymguly is the treasure of the national wisdom of the Turkmen people.
