Abstract
The article attempts to consider the existing distinctive features of business letters written in English, the identified features taking into account the cultural characteristics of business written communication, namely, the characteristics of the mentality of representatives of the English-speaking culture, the specifics of constructing English-language business correspondence. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that the business sphere occupies an important place in modern types of communication, but at the same time, many characteristics of this sphere of communication remain insufficiently studied.
