The former is achieved by a joint (the teacher – students) discussion and analysis of the subject line, main characters and events of the movie; the latter – due to the active enlarging of the students’ vocabulary with the authentic vocabulary of the film. Keywords: dispute, English cinematic material, listening comprehension, moral and ethical values, students, vocabulary
